Why Donate?

piggy-bankFundraising at Greenhill Library is a vital part of our future. As grant income from the council ramps down over the coming years, we must build our own fundraising income to maintain the £25,000 to £30,000 per annum needed to sustain the library in the medium term. We can, and will, continue to apply to other bodies for funding but this money is usually tied to specific projects. We also need unrestricted funding, to pay for the boring stuff like utility bills and building maintenance, as well as enabling us to develop our role within the community.

You can help by making a one-off donation using your PayPal account, debit or credit card using the button below.

If you prefer to make a regular contribution we encourage you to become a Friend of Greenhill Library by donating a minimum of £20 per year, and (if you are a UK taxpayer) completing a gift aid form for us so that we can claim the tax back, giving us an extra 25p for every £1 you donate. You can download a donation form here [awaiting link]

If you donate on-line we won’t be able to identify you personally or send a letter of thanks, but please be assured that your contribution is very much appreciated.

Thank you
